General Manager

The General Manager will lead the manufacturing planning and inventory control process being responsible for the inventory, will lead the Quality Culture to help identify sources of internal/external failures and develop fast and irreversible corrective actions. Moving the cost of quality from appraisal toward prevention. Establishing a No Defects Forward culture assuring everyone has the tool to achieve it. The general Manager will lead a dynamic team and work cross-functionally, providing leadership for all the activities necessary to provide an outstanding Health and Safe work place while achieving outstanding Customer Quality, Service and Delivery goals to ensure production goals.

Requirements:

BS or MS in Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience in focused area
12+ years (Minimum) in similar roll or higher, in manufacturing automotive (Tier 1 or Tier 2), manual and automated discrete parts manufacturing
Solid leadership and mentorship experience of manufacturing teams
Experience in cell manufacturing preferred
Bilingual in English / Spanish (Fluent)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong people management and development skills
Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
